Underground Marking Standards Training

Utilities Protection Center, Inc. will be offering statewide educational classes for the GPSC Rule 515-9-4.14, Georgia Underground Marking Standards. For more detailed information on this rule and UPC policy Click Here.

Below you will find a list of classes being offered for your planning purposes. Class information is being added daily. The goal is to have 50 classes around the state. You should be able to find a class near you! Once a complete list is formed, an alert will be sent via the pipeline eNewsletter and as UPC member broadcast. To be added to the pipeline please email you complete contact info to Becky Creech bcreech@gaupc.com.

Class will include a brief overview of Large Projects, a full discussion of Marking Standards including the use of sufficient particularity. This class will cover GA UPC Member responsibilities and excavator responsibilities.

For those who would like to learn web entry, a training class will follow the Marking Standards session. Web entry training takes approximately 2 hours. Following the class you will be given instructions to be issued a user name and password. To sign up for web entry training select Web Entry Training from the left and follow the instructions.
