About Dig Safely Meetings

A Dig Safely Meeting is about a 30-45 minute presentation – gives an overview of the dig law and we do tell the audience that this is an overview and that they should go to our website to obtain the law and should read it in its entirety.

The presentation also reviews PRIS, Color Coded Card, Locate Rodeo, Locate Excellence and the Digger Dog Program - so it also gives a little background on UPC and some of the other projects we are involved in. Anyone interested in a dig safely presentation or "Team Dig Safely" presentation should contact the Liaison Manager in their area. See Who is my Liaison? for manager in you area. We usually bring brochures and other handouts for anyone attending, door prizes, and have a Question/Answer session at the end.
